New Year’s Resolutions

Happy New Year!!!

It’s the time of year that most of us are deciding on New Year’s resolutions for ourselves.
Here is a list of 10 New Year’s Resolutions we can think about making regarding our pets.

    1) No more feeding your pet from the table!
    2) Groom your pet daily and trim nails as needed.
    3) When feeding, measure the food into a measuring cup to prevent overfeeding.
    4) Be realistic about your pet’s weight.
    5) Teach a new trick every month. Even your kitty can learn new tricks!
    6) Add more play and cuddle time into each day.
    7) Exercise more with your pet (including cats!). For dogs try to go for (at least) a 15 minute “exercise” walk at least once per day.
    8) Brush your pet’s teeth daily.
    9) Once a month do a full-body once-over of your pet. Feel for lumps, check for dental changes or any hair coat or skin problems. Check in with us at the clinic if you find any abnormalities or have any concerns.
    10) Appreciate your pet more for their physical and emotional support and the love they give to you.
