If this is your first visit with your pet, please bring any of your pet’s medical history along with you including any medications or special diets that your pet is currently taking. Having your pet’s medical history enables us to have a complete picture of their health status. If you are coming for a first time ophthalmology examination, please notify your regular veterinarian that you have an appointment at Forest Hill Animal Clinic and they will forward your pet’s medical history to our office.

When your pet is scheduled for surgery at Forest Hill Animal Clinic, please drop them off between 8am and 9am on the day of surgery. Please follow any instructions that were given at the time of booking surgery. For example, most surgical patients should not be fed after 8pm the night before surgery and no water after midnight. Some exceptions do apply, such as for very small patients or diabetics. If you have any concerns please contact one of our team members for specific instructions. Your pet’s normal medication schedule should be followed and all medications should accompany your pet to the clinic.
